Where Jotform wins
Leaving this out would make the rest of the page worthless.
- Jotform takes no percentage or per-transaction cut on payments, across 30+ processors including Stripe, PayPal, Square, and Authorize.Net. Only the processor's own fees apply — the same position we take.
- Native appointment scheduling is a built-in form field with two-way Google and Outlook Calendar sync, availability rules, and automatic Meet/Teams links. Most form builders make you embed Calendly; Jotform doesn't, and neither do we.
- API access is on every plan including free, and HIPAA compliance features are available on the self-serve $129 Gold plan without an enterprise contract — genuinely rare at that price.
- The template library is the largest in the industry by a wide margin. If your use case is unusual, Jotform probably has a starting point for it.
Pick Jotform if: you need HIPAA-eligible handling, unusual field widgets, or the broadest template library, and the $39–$129 tiers fit your budget.
Where Jotform frustrates people
- The free plan's 500 total submission storage cap is destructive: Jotform's own docs state that exceeding it deletes your oldest entry to make room for the new one. Responses are destroyed, not archived.
- Hitting the monthly cap disables the form and shows respondents a "Form over quota" message, so collection stops dead rather than degrading.
- Removing "Powered by Jotform" starts at $39/month, and Jotform documents that branding persists afterward anyway — in form URLs, in the terms links respondents see, and on Jotform Tables on every paid plan.
- Custom domains and white labeling are Enterprise-only with unpublished pricing. The $129/month Gold plan doesn't include them.
- Payment submissions are metered separately from regular submissions, so a Bronze account taking orders stops at 100 paid orders a month regardless of its 1,000-submission allowance.
Where Zunoform is the better pick
People leave Jotform for two reasons, and neither is missing features. The first is the bill: $39/month to remove branding, and custom domains locked behind Enterprise. The second is the free plan's storage cap, which deletes your oldest submissions once you pass 500 stored. Is Jotform's free plan really 100 submissions?

Does Jotform take a cut of payments?
No — Jotform charges no transaction fee, and neither do we. What differs is metering: Jotform caps payment submissions per plan (10/month on free, 100 on Bronze), while Zunoform counts a paid response the same as any other response.
Jotform or Zunoform for appointment booking?
Both have native scheduling with calendar sync, which is unusual. Jotform's appointment field adds Meet/Teams link generation; Zunoform's includes double-booking protection enforced at the database level. The deciding factor is usually price — Jotform's scheduling sits on plans starting at $39/month if you also want your branding off.
Can I move my Jotform forms across?
