Most "quiz makers" just collect answers
Plenty of form tools let you ask multiple-choice questions and call it a quiz. What's usually missing is the part that makes a quiz useful: weighting answers differently, marking which option was right, showing a grade at the end, and having that grade stored with the response so you can sort by it afterwards.
How it works
Score the options
On any choice, checkbox, or dropdown question, turn on scoring and give each option a point value. Different answers can be worth different amounts, and points can be negative.
Mark the right answers, or don't
For a knowledge test, flag the correct option or options so responses can be judged right and wrong. For a personality or recommendation quiz, skip that and let the point totals do the work.
Reveal the result
Show the running total anywhere with the score variable, and set up the ending page to reveal the final score and grade. Grade bands default to a standard A+ to F scale and can be redefined.
What makes it work
Scored on the server, stored with the response
The score is evaluated at submission from the live form definition and saved onto the response, so what a respondent sees on the ending page matches what lands in your results. It isn't a browser calculation that a devtools user can rewrite.
Grades you define
The default bands are the familiar A+ (97%) through F scale, and you can replace them with your own — pass/fail, four tiers, whatever your assessment needs. The grade is computed from the percentage of available points.
Tag responses by answer
Beyond scoring, tag rules label a response based on what was answered — equals, contains, greater than, and so on, with a fallback tag when nothing matches. Useful for segmenting quiz takers into buckets without doing it by hand later.
Live score anywhere in the form
The score variable can be interpolated into question text, statements, or the ending page, so you can show someone their running total as they go, or write a result page that reads back their own number.
