Zunoform vs Tally,
without the spin
We make Zunoform, so you know which way we lean. What we can promise: every Tally number below came off their own pricing page on the date shown, and the section about where they beat us is real.
The short version
Tally has the better free plan — unlimited responses to our 500, and Stripe payments at $0 where we ask $14.99. We'd rather say that than have you find out. Where Zunoform pulls ahead is the paid step and the shape of the form: $14.99 against $29 for branding removal, $24.99 against $29 for a custom domain, PayPal as well as Stripe, and a meeting scheduler built into the form rather than a Calendly embed.

Where Tally wins
Leaving this out would make the rest of the page worthless.
- Tally AI is available on every plan, including Free. Its documentation describes generating forms and editing questions, logic and branding in the editor. Zunoform’s AI drafting requires Business; AI availability alone is not a reason to switch.
- The free plan has no monthly response cap. Unlimited forms, unlimited submissions, plus conditional logic, calculations, file uploads, and signatures at zero cost — more generous than our 500-response free plan, full stop.
- Payments work on the free plan through Stripe, and Tally adds no fee on top of Stripe's own. You can run a paid order form without ever paying Tally a cent. Our payment fields need the $14.99 plan.
- The Notion-style editor is genuinely fast to build in: type '/' and pick a field. If your team already lives in Notion, the muscle memory transfers.
- API access, Google Sheets, Notion, Airtable, Zapier, Make, and webhooks are all on the free tier, plus 45+ languages with RTL support.
Pick Tally if: you want maximum free volume, you're comfortable with Tally branding on your forms, and you don't need a booking field or PayPal.
Where Tally frustrates people
- Branding removal and custom domains require Tally Pro. In Zunoform those features are on different tiers: branding removal starts at $14.99/month, while a custom domain requires Business at $24.99/month. Compare the specific feature and billing period you need.
- Booking through an embedded scheduler is a separate workflow to configure. Check the scheduler’s own plan and limits; an embed does not necessarily require a paid subscription.
- Free caps file uploads at 10MB per file and version history at 7 days.
- Respondent email verification and data retention controls are Business-tier at $89/month.
- "Unlimited" is governed by a fair-use policy rather than a published number, so very high-volume senders end up negotiating a custom plan rather than reading a price.
Where Zunoform is the better pick
Tally offers unlimited free submissions under fair use and AI tools on Free. Consider Zunoform when its native booking question, PayPal support or combination of conversational, single-page and document layouts fits your workflow. Compare the relevant paid tier and test a representative form before rebuilding; Zunoform does not have a Tally importer.
Zunoform vs Tally FAQ
Does Tally have a free AI form builder?
Yes. Tally’s documentation says its AI builder is free on all plans and can generate and edit forms. Zunoform’s AI composer drafts questions on Business. In either product, review the generated questions, branches and settings before publishing; generated content is not proof that your downstream workflow is configured.
Is Tally really free and unlimited?
Yes, with an asterisk worth reading: unlimited forms and submissions on free, but governed by a fair-use policy rather than a published cap. Tally contacts accounts sustaining roughly 50,000 submissions a month to arrange a custom plan. Free forms carry Tally branding and cap file uploads at 10MB.
Tally or Zunoform — which is cheaper?
On free, Tally: unlimited responses versus our 500 a month, and payments included where we charge $14.99. On paid, Zunoform: $14.99 versus $29 to remove branding, and $24.99 versus $29 for a custom domain.
Does Tally have a meeting scheduler?
No. Tally supports embedding a third-party scheduler like Calendly. Zunoform has a native scheduler question with calendar sync and double-booking protection, so booking happens inside the form itself.
Can Tally do conversational, one-question-at-a-time forms?
Yes — Tally supports both block-based pages and a one-question-at-a-time mode. The difference is emphasis: Tally's editor is document-first, while Zunoform offers conversational, single-page and document layouts alongside its editable template library.
