The best Paperform alternatives,
honestly compared
Zunoform is one of the alternatives on this page, so read it with that in mind. What you won’t find: a rigged list where we win every row. Paperform is genuinely better for some people, and we say who.
Why people go looking
Almost everyone who goes looking for a Paperform alternative does it for one of two reasons, and neither is the editor. Either they hit the 30-submission free cap in the first week, or they did the arithmetic on Essentials and realised 1,200 a year is 100 a month. The third, smaller group wants to remove branding without paying $49, or a custom domain without the $20 add-on on top of it.
- The free plan is 30 submissions a month. That is a demo rather than a free tier. Zunoform's free plan is 500 responses a month with unlimited forms.
- The unit changes between tiers and it is very easy to misread. Free is quoted per month; every paid plan is quoted per year. Essentials at $24 a month gives 1,200 submissions a year — about 100 a month, which is a fifth of what our free plan allows at $0.
- Removing Paperform branding needs Pro at $49 a month. Ours is $14.99, and Tally's is $29.
- A custom domain on Pro is an extra $20 a month per domain on top of the $49, so a branded form on your own domain is $69 a month. Zunoform's custom domain is on the $24.99 Business plan with no add-on.
- We could not verify the month-to-month prices. The billing toggle did not re-render across two inspections on 2026-08-14, and $288 a year is exactly twelve times the $24 shown, so everything above is the annual rate — paying monthly will cost more than these figures.
The alternatives worth your time
Including the ones that compete with us.
Zunoform
Conversational forms without the per-response taxOne-question-at-a-time forms with logic, quiz scoring, and a native meeting scheduler. Free plan: unlimited forms and 500 responses a month. $14.99/mo removes branding and turns on payments through your own Stripe or PayPal account, with no platform cut. 133 templates, and importers for Typeform, Google Forms, and Jotform.
Tally
Notion-style builder with unlimited free forms and submissionsyou want maximum free volume, you're comfortable with Tally branding on your forms, and you don't need a booking field or PayPal.
Zunoform vs Tally →Fillout
Form builder with native scheduling and no per-seat pricingyou have a big team (per-seat pricing would hurt), you want booking and payments free, and you can live with the badge until $40/month.
Zunoform vs Fillout →Jotform
Broad builder with payments, scheduling and HIPAA-eligible plansyou need HIPAA-eligible handling, unusual field widgets, or the broadest template library, and the $39–$129 tiers fit your budget.
Zunoform vs Jotform →Staying on Paperform
the look of the form is the product — a designed page rather than a set of fields — and your volume is spiky enough that an annual submission pool suits you better than a monthly one. If that describes you, switching costs more than it saves.
Paperform vs Zunoform, line by line
The comparison that matters if you’re replacing Paperform with something similar rather than simpler.

Where Paperform wins
Leaving this out would make the rest of the page worthless.
- The editor is the reason to buy it and it is genuinely good. You write a page the way you would write a document and drop questions inline, so what comes out reads like a designed landing page rather than form fields on a background. Our conversational layout is a different idea, not a better one.
- Conditional logic is on every plan including the free one. That is more than SurveyMonkey, Wufoo or SurveySparrow manage, and it matters more than most feature lists suggest.
- The top end is very large: 120,000 submissions a year on Business, expandable to 600,000. If your volume is spiky — a conference, an annual application window, a seasonal campaign — an annual pool absorbs that better than our flat monthly cap.
- Overage is published and priced rather than forcing a tier jump. $7.50 or $10 a month buys a defined block of extra submissions. Most competitors on this page, including us, make you upgrade the whole plan instead.
Pick Paperform if: the look of the form is the product — a designed page rather than a set of fields — and your volume is spiky enough that an annual submission pool suits you better than a monthly one.
Where Paperform frustrates people

Paperform alternatives FAQ
How many submissions does the free Paperform plan allow?
30 a month, with unlimited forms and conditional logic included. New accounts also get a 7-day trial of the Pro plan, which drops to the free tier afterwards. Zunoform's free plan is 500 responses a month, also with unlimited forms and conditional logic, plus quiz scoring, file uploads and a meeting scheduler.
Why does this page not show Paperform's monthly prices?
Because we could not verify them. Paperform's billing toggle did not re-render across two inspections on 2026-08-14, and the arithmetic confirms what we were looking at: Essentials displays "$24/month" and "billed as $288/year", and 12 × $24 is exactly $288. Those are annual rates. Rather than convert or guess at the month-to-month figure, we have left it out and told you why.
Is Paperform's Essentials plan really only 100 submissions a month?
Effectively, yes — the plan is quoted as 1,200 a year, which averages to 100 a month. You can pool them however you like across the year, which suits seasonal volume, but for steady traffic it is a low ceiling for $24 a month. Zunoform's $14.99 Pro plan is 5,000 responses a month.
What does a custom domain cost on Paperform?
On Pro it is an add-on at $20 per month per domain on top of the $49 plan, so $69 a month in total. The Business plan at $99 a month includes one domain. Zunoform serves forms from your own domain on the $24.99 Business plan with no per-domain charge.
Paperform or Zunoform?
Paperform if the form needs to look like a designed page and the editor is what you are buying. Zunoform if you want one question at a time, a booking field inside the form, payments through your own Stripe or PayPal keys with no platform cut, and a free plan you can actually run on — 500 responses a month against their 30.
