Zunoform vs Paperform,
without the spin

We make Zunoform, so you know which way we lean. What we can promise: every Paperform number below came off their own pricing page on the date shown, and the section about where they beat us is real.

The short version

Paperform builds the best-looking static form on this page and we would not argue otherwise; if your form doubles as a landing page, that editor is worth paying for. The gap is volume per dollar and the way it is presented. Their free plan is 30 submissions a month against our 500, and Essentials at $24 a month buys 1,200 submissions a year — roughly 100 a month, still a fifth of what Zunoform gives away. Removing branding is $49 against our $14.99, and a custom domain on Pro adds $20 a month on top.

Where Paperform wins

Leaving this out would make the rest of the page worthless.

Pick Paperform if: the look of the form is the product — a designed page rather than a set of fields — and your volume is spiky enough that an annual submission pool suits you better than a monthly one.

Where Paperform frustrates people

Where Zunoform is the better pick

Almost everyone who goes looking for a Paperform alternative does it for one of two reasons, and neither is the editor. Either they hit the 30-submission free cap in the first week, or they did the arithmetic on Essentials and realised 1,200 a year is 100 a month. The third, smaller group wants to remove branding without paying $49, or a custom domain without the $20 add-on on top of it.

Zunoform vs Paperform FAQ

How many submissions does the free Paperform plan allow?

30 a month, with unlimited forms and conditional logic included. New accounts also get a 7-day trial of the Pro plan, which drops to the free tier afterwards. Zunoform's free plan is 500 responses a month, also with unlimited forms and conditional logic, plus quiz scoring, file uploads and a meeting scheduler.

Why does this page not show Paperform's monthly prices?

Because we could not verify them. Paperform's billing toggle did not re-render across two inspections on 2026-08-14, and the arithmetic confirms what we were looking at: Essentials displays "$24/month" and "billed as $288/year", and 12 × $24 is exactly $288. Those are annual rates. Rather than convert or guess at the month-to-month figure, we have left it out and told you why.

Is Paperform's Essentials plan really only 100 submissions a month?

Effectively, yes — the plan is quoted as 1,200 a year, which averages to 100 a month. You can pool them however you like across the year, which suits seasonal volume, but for steady traffic it is a low ceiling for $24 a month. Zunoform's $14.99 Pro plan is 5,000 responses a month.

What does a custom domain cost on Paperform?

On Pro it is an add-on at $20 per month per domain on top of the $49 plan, so $69 a month in total. The Business plan at $99 a month includes one domain. Zunoform serves forms from your own domain on the $24.99 Business plan with no per-domain charge.

Paperform or Zunoform?

Paperform if the form needs to look like a designed page and the editor is what you are buying. Zunoform if you want one question at a time, a booking field inside the form, payments through your own Stripe or PayPal keys with no platform cut, and a free plan you can actually run on — 500 responses a month against their 30.
