Notion forms: send form responses to a Notion database

Connect your Notion workspace

Click Connect on the Notion card and approve access. Notion asks you to select which pages or databases Zunoform may write to.

Choose the database

Pick the database responses should land in. Zunoform reads its properties and finds the title column whatever it's called. To get an answer into its own column, name a property exactly like the question (capitals and extra spaces don't matter) and give it a matching type: text, number, select, multi-select, date, email, phone, URL or checkbox.

Enable and publish

Toggle the integration on. New responses appear as pages in the database with the matching properties filled, plus every answer (and any hidden-field values such as UTM tags) as a bulleted list inside each page.

What arrives on the other side

One database page per response. Each answer goes into the property whose name matches the question label, converted to that property's type: text, number, select and multi-select (existing options are reused, new ones are added if Zunoform can edit the database), date, email, phone, URL or checkbox (Yes/No). Hidden fields such as utm_source fill same-named properties too. The title is the form name and submission date, unless a question or hidden field shares the title property's name. The page body always lists every answer and hidden-field value, including those with no matching property or with a type Zunoform can't write, such as files, people, relation, status or formula.

How do answers get into their own Notion columns?

Name a database property the same as the question (“Company” for a question labelled Company) with a compatible type. Matching ignores capitals and extra spaces. Answers with no matching property stay in the page body. If Notion rejects a value, for example a select option it won't create, Zunoform saves the page without that property instead of dropping the response.

Do I need to create the database first?

Yes — create the database in Notion and grant Zunoform access to it during the connection step, then select it in the integration settings.

I send Typeform responses to Notion today — can I move that setup?

Yes. Import the Typeform with the built-in importer (a form link plus a personal access token rebuilds the questions and options), then connect Notion on the imported form and pick the same database. Past responses stay where they already are in Notion; new ones arrive from Zunoform once you publish.
