Post-Event Feedback template
A post-event survey built around a rating matrix: attendees score venue, sessions, speakers, food, and networking on one screen instead of five. A star rating opens, an NPS question closes, and two open questions — the highlight and the one thing to change — give you quotes for the retro deck.

When to use this template
- A summit organizer sending feedback the morning after, while impressions are fresh
- A conference team comparing this year's matrix scores against last year's to prove the venue change paid off
- A company offsite where leadership wants honest reads on sessions versus logistics
- A wedding or gala planner gathering vendor feedback (food, venue, logistics) to refine preferred-supplier lists
Tips to get more from it
- The matrix rates five event aspects across Poor to Excellent in one interaction — add or remove rows in the field editor to match what your event actually had.
- "What's the one thing we should change?" outperforms open-ended "any comments?" questions because it forces a single, actionable answer. Resist the urge to soften it.
- The NPS question at the end gives you a benchmarkable score to track year over year; note that NPS fields require the Pro plan to publish, so on the free plan swap it for a choice or star question.
- The next-year intent question ("Definitely" through "Probably not") is your earliest read on retention — cross-reference it with matrix scores in the CSV export.
Questions people ask
When should I send a post-event survey?
Within 24 hours of the event ending — response rates and detail drop sharply after the weekend. The welcome screen's promise of a three-minute survey helps too, and this one genuinely is.
Is this survey anonymous?
The template collects no name or email, so responses are anonymous by default. Add a contact field if you want to follow up with specific attendees.
Can I use this template on the free plan?
Almost entirely — the one exception is the NPS field, which requires Pro ($14.99/mo) to publish. Replace it with a 0–10 choice question or a star rating and the whole form runs free.
