The best quiz maker for lead generation in 2026, compared on evidence
A quiz maker for lead generation has one job beyond the quiz: turn a finished quiz into a contact in your email tool or CRM, tagged with the result. We read the pricing and help pages of nine quiz tools on 28 September 2026 and compared how they score, where they ask for the email, what they sync, and what 1,000 leads a month costs. Zunoform is one of the nine; it is not first.
By Raj Kumar, Founder, Zunoform

The short answer
Interact is the best quiz maker for lead generation if your leads go to an email platform: it is built only for quiz lead magnets, has a free plan, and connects to Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo and similar tools from $27 a month. ScoreApp is best for scorecard-style B2B quizzes with landing pages. If you want the lowest price for 1,000 leads a month and can live without a dedicated quiz funnel suite, Zunoform does scored and outcome quizzes for $14.99.
- Best overall for quiz lead magnets: Interact
- Best for scorecards and B2B assessments: ScoreApp
- Best for quizzes plus calculators and outcome emails: involve.me
- Best low-cost option at 1,000+ leads a month: Zunoform
- Cheapest specialist per lead: Outgrow
- Best for publishers and unlimited leads: Riddle
How did we evaluate these quiz makers?
We did not run traffic through nine live quizzes, so there are no opt-in rates here; vendor-reported conversion figures are not comparable across tools. We read each vendor's pricing and help pages on 28 September 2026 and compared four things. Where a vendor did not say, the table says "not listed".
1. Outcome and score logic: can the quiz add points and route people to different results by score range (an assessment), by answer pattern (a personality or product-match quiz), or both?
2. Email gating: where can you ask for the email, before the questions or before the result, and can you make it required? Gating before the result is the standard lead magnet move.
3. CRM and email integrations: does the result or score reach HubSpot, Salesforce or your email platform natively, so you can segment follow-ups by outcome, or do you need Zapier?
4. Cost per lead volume: the cheapest plan, per month on annual billing unless marked, that accepts 1,000 leads or responses a month. Quiz tools price on leads, completions or responses, and those are counted differently, so read the table's column note.

Which quiz maker for lead generation fits your funnel?
The order weighs all four criteria for a typical small business or creator: one or two lead magnet quizzes, a few hundred to a few thousand leads a month, and one email platform or CRM. Each entry lists what it does well and what would rule it out.
1. Interact: best overall for quiz lead magnets
Interact builds nothing but quizzes, and its plans are priced on email leads. The free plan already includes personality, assessment and scored quizzes with lead collection, and Lite, at $27 a month billed annually, adds branching logic, result-page calls to action, segmenting and native connections to email tools including Mailchimp, Kit, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign and GoHighLevel.
Cons: the free plan has no integrations and 100 completions a month, so it is a test bed, not a funnel. Lite caps you at 500 leads and keeps Interact branding; 1,000 leads needs Growth at $53. HubSpot is in the advanced integrations that Interact's plan cards place on Pro, at $125.
2. ScoreApp: best for scorecards and B2B assessments
ScoreApp is built around the scorecard: a quiz that scores several categories, then shows a results page with content by score tier. Every plan can require the sign-up form before the questions or before the results, email the result to the participant, keep incomplete responses and build landing pages.
Cons: plans are priced on responses, not leads: Starter at $30 a month (annual) includes 100, and 1,000 needs Business at $75. UTM capture, abandon emails, analytics pixels and multiple result pages also start on Business. The free tier allows 10 responses a month.
3. involve.me: best for quizzes, calculators and outcome emails
involve.me handles quizzes, calculators and multi-step funnels in one editor, with score and calculation values on every plan and no listed response cap on paid plans. From Grow, at $69 a month billed annually, you can send a different email for each outcome, pass UTMs and hidden fields, push to HubSpot and remove branding.
Cons: the $29 Start plan has no UTM tracking or CRM integrations, which rules it out for most lead funnels. Salesforce and partial submissions need Scale at $139, and every plan limits how many funnels are live.
4. Zunoform: best low-cost option at 1,000+ leads a month
Zunoform's quiz scoring is on every plan: points per option, correct answers, grade bands and per-question explanations, with outcome quizzes that send people to different ending screens by score range or by answer mapping for personality and product-match quizzes. Put a required email question before the ending and every result is gated. Hidden fields capture UTM parameters, and partial responses are saved as people answer. The free plan allows 500 responses a month; Pro, at $14.99, allows 5,000 and adds the HubSpot and Mailchimp integrations.
For quizzes that only reveal results at the end, the answer key is not sent to the respondent's browser; the score is computed on the server at submission. If the form displays or branches on the score mid-quiz, the key has to be sent. Cons: Zunoform is a form builder with quizzes, not a quiz funnel suite, so there are no landing pages, A/B tests or outcome-based email sequences. Hidden fields do not reach HubSpot or Mailchimp through the native integrations, and there is no native Salesforce connection; use Zapier or a webhook for both.
5. Outgrow: cheapest specialist per lead
Outgrow includes outcome quizzes, assessments, polls, calculators and forms on every plan, with outcome mapping and conditional calls to action. Freelancer Pro, at $25 a month billed annually, allows 1,000 leads a month, the lowest price for that volume among the dedicated quiz tools here.
Cons: Freelancer plans limit you to a handful of content pieces and cannot remove Outgrow branding. On the entry Freelancer plan only the lead form data goes to integrations; sending quiz answers and results needs a higher plan or Outgrow's small-business offer. No free plan is listed.
6. Typeform: best conversational polish
Typeform scores answers, shows different endings by score range and builds outcome quizzes through its logic panel, and its pricing page lists native HubSpot and Salesforce connections.
Cons: the free plan is 10 responses a month and 1,000 needs Plus at $56 billed annually. Partial responses on forms that use scoring or logic need a Growth plan. Typeform's own help center warns that a tech-savvy respondent can find the correct answers of a logic quiz in the page source.
7. Riddle: best for publishers and unlimited leads
Riddle offers more than 35 content formats, including scored and personality quizzes and leaderboards, with unlimited content, responses and leads on every paid plan. Pro, at $119 a month on annual billing, sends leads to marketing tools, Google Sheets or webhooks and lists a Salesforce lead integration.
Cons: there is no free plan, only a 14-day full trial, after which Riddle unpublishes what you built. Pro includes one seat and three embed domains, and $119 is a lot for a quiz getting a few hundred leads.
8. Jotform: best if you already use Jotform
Jotform can run a scored quiz by giving answers calculation values, totaling them with the Form Calculation widget and showing score-based messages with conditions. Bronze, at $34 a month billed annually, allows 1,000 submissions, and HubSpot and Salesforce integrations are available.
Cons: scoring is a widget setup rather than a quiz mode, and outcome routing takes condition rules per result. The free Starter plan allows 5 forms and 100 submissions a month.
9. Heyflow: best for paid-ads quiz funnels
Heyflow builds multi-step funnels with formulas, calculations and logic to different result screens, and native CRM integrations such as HubSpot are on every plan.
Cons: no free plan, a 14-day trial, and pricing per response: 1,000 responses a month means Scale at $249 on monthly billing.
What does 1,000 quiz leads a month cost?
Worked example, as an illustration: a coach runs a "What is your business stage?" quiz that brings in about 1,000 leads a month and wants each lead in HubSpot tagged with the result. Using the prices above, the cheapest plan that does both natively is: Zunoform $14.99 ($12.50 annual, via HubSpot on Pro), Jotform $34, Typeform $56, involve.me $69, ScoreApp $75, Riddle $119 and Interact $125 (Pro, where HubSpot sits). If the list lives in Mailchimp or Kit instead of HubSpot, Interact drops to $53.
The cheapest line is not automatically the right one. A dedicated quiz suite gives you result landing pages, outcome emails and split tests that you would otherwise build elsewhere; decide which of those you would really use before comparing prices.
Should you ask for the email before or after the quiz?
Most lead generation quizzes ask for the email after the last question and before the result, when the respondent has invested time and wants the payoff. Asking before the first question gets fewer starts but only committed respondents; ScoreApp lets you choose either on every plan.
Whatever you choose, say what you will send and get consent for marketing follow-up. A tool that keeps partial responses will also hold answers from people who quit before the email, which helps you find the question where they leave; it is not permission to email them. Our quiz funnel examples and lead magnet quiz ideas cover what to ask and where.
Quiz lead magnet launch checklist
Run through this before you point traffic at any quiz, whichever tool you pick.
- Write every outcome first, then the questions that separate them; 5 to 10 questions is a common range.
- Decide the gate: email before results, required, with a one-line promise of what they will receive.
- Submit one test per outcome and confirm each lands in the CRM or email tool tagged with its result.
- Add hidden fields for utm_source and utm_campaign, and build tagged links with our UTM builder.
- Check the plan's monthly lead or response allowance and what happens when you hit it.
- Put a single next step on every result screen: book a call, a product, or a resource.
- Track start-to-finish rate weekly with our form conversion rate calculator and fix the question where people leave.

Where Zunoform fits, and who should not choose it
Zunoform fits teams that want scored or outcome quizzes, UTM capture and partial responses at a low price, and are happy to run follow-up emails in their own email tool; our quiz maker page shows the builder. Do not choose it if you want a quiz funnel suite with landing pages, A/B tests and outcome email sequences (ScoreApp, involve.me or Interact), native Salesforce (Typeform, Jotform or involve.me Scale), quiz timers, or built-in spam protection.
Questions people ask
What is the best quiz maker for lead generation?
On 28 September 2026 pricing, Interact is the best all-round choice for quiz lead magnets that feed an email list, ScoreApp is best for B2B scorecards, and involve.me is best when you also need calculators and outcome emails. Zunoform is the cheapest option we found for 1,000 or more leads a month with a HubSpot integration.
What is a lead generation quiz?
A lead generation quiz asks a few questions, scores or maps the answers to an outcome, and asks for an email before showing the result. The result gives the respondent something useful and gives you a segmented lead: you know their email and which problem, product or stage they fit, so the follow-up can match.
Is there a free lead generation quiz maker?
Several have free plans, but most are small. Interact's free plan allows 100 completions a month with no integrations, ScoreApp's allows 10 responses, involve.me's 50 submissions, and Typeform's 10 responses. Zunoform's free plan allows 500 responses a month with scoring, outcome endings, hidden fields and Google Sheets, Zoho or webhook delivery.
What is quiz funnel software?
Quiz funnel software combines a quiz with the pages and automation around it: a landing page, an email gate, result pages by outcome, and follow-up emails or CRM tags per result. ScoreApp, involve.me and Interact are built this way. A form builder with quiz scoring covers the quiz and the gate, and you run the follow-up in your email tool.
Can Typeform make a lead generation quiz?
Yes. Typeform scores answers, shows different endings by score range, and connects natively to HubSpot and Salesforce. The limits are volume and cost: the free plan allows 10 responses a month, 1,000 responses needs Plus at $56 a month billed annually, and partial responses on scored forms need a Growth plan.
How many questions should a lead generation quiz have?
Enough to separate your outcomes, and no more. Many lead magnet quizzes use 5 to 10 questions, but no tool vendor publishes a comparable study we could verify, so treat any "ideal number" as a starting point. Measure where people drop off in your own quiz and remove questions that do not change the result.
