Collect a payment before the form response is accepted
Add a payment field and the respondent pays with a card inside the form, on your own Stripe keys. Money moves between your customer and your account — we never hold it and take no percentage. PayPal is the same field with the provider switched.
Available on Pro, $14.99 a month. The free plan covers Google Sheets, Zoho CRM, Zapier, calendar sync, webhooks, and email notifications.
Four steps, start to finish
This is a native integration, so there is a Connect button in the builder and nothing to install.
Add a payment field
Drop a Payment field into the form and set currency and amount. Turn on pricing by answer if the total should follow what the respondent selected earlier.
Paste your own Stripe keys
Add the publishable and secret keys from your Stripe dashboard, or switch the provider to PayPal and paste a REST client ID and secret instead.
Add the webhook signing secret
Optional but worth the two minutes. It lets Stripe tell us the outcome directly, so a customer whose browser closed during checkout still ends up with the right payment status.
Publish and take a test payment
Run one payment through yourself and check that the charge appears in Stripe and the payment record appears on the response.
What arrives on the other side
A charge on your own Stripe account, and a payment record attached to the response showing provider, amount, and status. The amount is recomputed on the server from your live field definition at checkout and verified again at submission, so a response claiming a payment that did not happen, or one for the wrong amount, is rejected rather than stored. Adding the per-form webhook signing secret keeps the status accurate even when a customer closes the tab mid-checkout.
When it fires, and what happens if it fails
Every action on this page fires on a completed response, not on a partial one. The response is stored in Zunoform first and delivered from a queue, so a failure on the far side is retried rather than dropped. One thing to plan for: responses collected before you switch the integration on are not replayed. Delivery starts from the moment it is enabled, and anything earlier stays in your dashboard for CSV export.
Questions people ask
Do you take a cut of the payment?
No. Payments run on your own Stripe or PayPal credentials. You pay their standard processing fees and nothing to us beyond the $14.99 plan.
Can the amount depend on the answers?
Yes. Map a price to each option of a choice or checkbox question and the total is the sum of what was selected, recomputed server-side at checkout and re-verified at submission. A tampered client cannot invent a cheaper price.
Which plan is needed?
Pro, at $14.99 a month. For comparison, payment fields start at $91 a month on Typeform.
