Create a Zoho CRM lead when someone completes your form

A completed response becomes a record in your Zoho CRM, in the Leads module by default. The record exists before anyone has read the notification email, which is the difference between a form and an intake process. Zoho is on our free plan, which is unusual for a CRM connection.

Included on the free plan — 500 responses a month, one seat, no card required.

Four steps, start to finish

This is a native integration, so there is a Connect button in the builder and nothing to install.

01

Connect Zoho from the Integrations tab

Click Connect on the Zoho card and authorize your account. You will pick your data center as part of the Zoho sign-in.

02

Choose the module

Leads is the default. Switch it to Contacts or another module if that is where your pipeline actually starts.

03

Ask for the fields Zoho needs

Zoho enforces its own required fields on the module you chose. If Last Name is required on Leads, your form has to collect something to put there, or record creation will be rejected.

04

Enable, publish, and test with your own details

Turn the integration on and submit one response. Confirm the record appears in the right module with the fields populated before you send the form anywhere.

What arrives on the other side

A record in the Zoho module you selected, with answers mapped onto that module's fields. Leads is the default because it is where most inbound enquiries belong, but you can point it at Contacts or another module per form. Records land in whichever Zoho data center your organization uses, which is chosen during the OAuth step rather than typed in — a detail that matters if you have organizations in more than one region.

When it fires, and what happens if it fails

Every action on this page fires on a completed response, not on a partial one. The response is stored in Zunoform first and delivered from a queue, so a failure on the far side is retried rather than dropped. One thing to plan for: responses collected before you switch the integration on are not replayed. Delivery starts from the moment it is enabled, and anything earlier stays in your dashboard for CSV export.

Questions people ask

Is this really included on the free plan?

Yes. Zoho CRM sits alongside Google Sheets, Zapier, calendar sync, and webhooks on the free plan, which allows 500 responses a month.

Will a repeat respondent create a second lead?

Zoho applies its own duplicate rules on the module you write to. If you need repeat submissions merged, configure that in Zoho rather than expecting the form to detect it — Zunoform sends each completed response as its own record.

Can different forms write to different modules?

Yes. The module is set per form, so a contact form can create Leads while a customer survey writes to Contacts, on the same Zoho connection.
