The best Qualtrics alternatives,
honestly compared

Zunoform is one of the alternatives on this page, so read it with that in mind. What you won’t find: a rigged list where we win every row. Qualtrics is genuinely better for some people, and we say who.

Why people go looking

People search for Qualtrics alternatives for two different reasons, and they need different answers. If you need the research platform and only balked at the quote, the honest alternatives are other research tools, and we say so below. If you were sent to Qualtrics for something a form builder does — a signup, an application, an order, a feedback form — then almost anything on this page is a better fit than a $5,040 annual contract for 1,000 responses.

The alternatives worth your time

Including the ones that compete with us.

Zunoform

Free plan: unlimited forms and 500 responses a month. $14.99/mo removes branding and turns on payments through your own Stripe or PayPal account, with no platform cut. 133 templates, and importers for Typeform, Google Forms, and Jotform.

SurveyMonkey

Google Forms

you're collecting straightforward survey, registration, or quiz responses, you live in Sheets, and you don't need payments or brand control.

Microsoft Forms

Bundled with Microsoft 365, free inside the tenant

your organization already pays for Microsoft 365, your respondents are colleagues or students with work or school accounts, and you need volume and IT governance rather than design control, payments, or a booking field.

Staying on Qualtrics

you are running formal research or a company-wide customer- or employee-experience program, you need statistical analysis and enterprise governance, and your budget starts in the thousands rather than the tens. If that describes you, switching costs more than it saves.

Qualtrics alternatives FAQ

How much does Qualtrics cost?

Qualtrics publishes exactly one price: Strategic Research bought online is $420 a month, $5,040 billed annually, for 1,000 responses shared across all users, with unlimited users and surveys. Everything else — the CX, employee-experience, and brand packages, and enterprise Strategic Research — is quote-only. Their main pricing page shows a Request Pricing button under all eight packages and no dollar figures at all.

Is there a free version of Qualtrics?

Yes. The free Qualtrics Surveys account gives a single user 3 active surveys, 30 questions per survey, 8 question types, and 500 responses in total rather than per month. Skip, display, and branch logic are included. Custom branding, the advanced question types, StatsIQ, and dashboards are not.

Qualtrics or Zunoform?

Qualtrics if you need research methodology, statistical analysis, quota management, or enterprise governance — we offer none of those, and no SSO or SOC 2 either. Zunoform if you need a form people finish: conversational layout, conditional logic, quiz scoring, file uploads, and a meeting scheduler on the free plan, with payments through your own Stripe or PayPal account at $14.99 a month.

Why does the Qualtrics pricing page not show prices?

Because most of what Qualtrics sells is priced on usage metrics that vary per customer — interactions for CX products, employee count for employee-experience products, survey responses and minutes of video feedback for research. That is a legitimate model for programs of that size. It is also, for a small team comparing options on a Tuesday afternoon, a real obstacle, and worth knowing before you fill in the form.
