Add a subscriber to a Mailchimp audience when a form is submitted
Respondents join the audience you choose as they submit, so a signup or lead magnet form grows the list without a CSV export in the middle. Consent is your job, not ours — the integration adds whoever the form sends it.
Available on Pro, $14.99 a month. The free plan covers Google Sheets, Zoho CRM, Zapier, calendar sync, webhooks, and email notifications.
Four steps, start to finish
This is a native integration, so there is a Connect button in the builder and nothing to install.
Ask for consent in the form
Add an explicit checkbox asking permission to email them, and use conditional logic so the subscription only happens for people who agreed. Zunoform stores the answer either way, which gives you a record of the consent.
Connect Mailchimp
Click Connect on the Mailchimp card and authorize your account.
Pick the audience
Choose which audience new respondents join, and confirm the form has an email question — without one there is nothing to subscribe.
Enable and publish
Turn it on. Each completed response adds the respondent to that audience.
What arrives on the other side
A subscriber in the audience you selected, created from the email address the form collected. That is the whole of it, which is the point worth being straight about: this action adds people to a list, and everything after that — tagging, segmentation, the welcome sequence — happens in Mailchimp. The audience is set per form, so different signup forms can feed different lists on one connection.
When it fires, and what happens if it fails
Every action on this page fires on a completed response, not on a partial one. The response is stored in Zunoform first and delivered from a queue, so a failure on the far side is retried rather than dropped. One thing to plan for: responses collected before you switch the integration on are not replayed. Delivery starts from the moment it is enabled, and anything earlier stays in your dashboard for CSV export.
Questions people ask
Does this handle consent for me?
No. The integration subscribes whoever completes the form. Ask permission with a checkbox question and gate the submission on it — that is both the correct thing to do and the only way you end up with a record of what someone agreed to.
Which plan includes Mailchimp?
Pro, at $14.99 a month, along with Slack, Notion, HubSpot, Airtable, and Excel.
Can the confirmation email come from Mailchimp instead of Zunoform?
Yes, and often it should, so the receipt matches your other emails. Zunoform can send respondent confirmations itself, from our address on free or from your own domain with custom SMTP on Pro — pick one and turn the other off, or people get two.
