Tips to get more from it

'What do you want to learn?' is the highest-signal question on the form and it's required. Generic answers screen themselves out; specific ones hand your mentors a starting plan.
The track dropdown pre-sorts applicants for review — keep it aligned with the teams that have actually committed mentor time this term.
The resume upload takes one document up to 10 MB; the portfolio URL field is separate and optional, which suits engineering candidates whose GitHub says more than their resume.
