Webinar Feedback Survey template
A post-webinar survey that separates "interesting" from "useful" and asks about each segment individually. A matrix rates the presentation, demo, Q&A, pacing, and audio-video quality in one screen; the live Q&A question is skipped for people who watched the recording; and the email question appears only for attendees who ask to be contacted. Thirteen steps, about two minutes.

When to use this template
- A SaaS company running a recurring webinar series and needing per-segment feedback rather than one overall score
- Post-event follow-up where the feedback request doubles as the delivery email for slides and the recording
- Training and education webinars, where the length question settles the recurring argument about running 45 or 90 minutes
- Marketing teams using the follow-up opt-in to hand genuinely interested attendees to sales without a blanket pitch
Tips to get more from it
- The matrix rates five segments in a single screen, which is why people finish it. Rating each part separately tells you whether to cut the demo or fix the Q&A — an overall score never does.
- The live Q&A question is skipped for recording watchers, and the email question only appears for people who ask to be contacted. Both rules live in the Logic tab.
- The usefulness rating deliberately sits beside the overall rating, with helper text noting they are different things. Sessions that entertain and teach nothing rate high on one and low on the other.
- The most-useful-takeaway answers are your best marketing copy for the next session in the series. Quote them, with permission.
Questions people ask
What should a post-webinar survey ask?
Overall and usefulness ratings, a per-segment breakdown, whether the length was right, the main takeaway, future topics, and a follow-up opt-in. That's this template's structure, at thirteen steps.
When should I send a webinar feedback survey?
Immediately after the session, ideally in the same email as the recording and slides. Response rates fall off sharply within a day.
Can I collect feedback without asking for contact details?
Yes — the email question only appears for attendees who ask to be followed up with. For fully anonymous feedback, turn on the anonymous responses setting, which stores no IP address, user agent, referrer, or location data.
